
Mohit Sharma is a professional cricket bowler who has formerly represented the Indian national cricket team in ODIs and T20Is. He was born on September 18, 1988, in Ballabhgarh, Haryana. Mohit picked 37 wickets in seven games of the Ranji Trophy 2012-13 season. He made his international debut for India against Zimbabwe on August 01, 2013. He also made his T20I debut in 2014 against Australia. Mohit was also a part of the Indian squad in the ICC ODI World Cup 2015.
Domestically, he played for the Haryana State Cricket Team. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), he has played for several teams like the Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, etc. He was first picked in the IPL by CSK in 2013. As of March 25, 2025, Mohit Sharma has played 26 ODIs and four T20Is. He is not a part of the Indian team since 2015 and is only playing in domestic cricket and IPL. However, he has not announced an official retirement from international cricket.

Gujarat Titans roped in Mohit Sharma for INR 50 lakhs in the ipl 2023 auction. In the IPL 2025, Delhi Capitals bought him as an uncapped player for INR 2.2 crores.
