The Indian limited-overs opener is one of the best players is shorter versions of the game. Having started with Delhi Daredevils in 2008, the 33-year-old moved to Mumbai Indians in 2009.
He then moved to Deccan Chargers and finally settled with Sunrisers where he played for six successful years. He also won the Indian Premier League title with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016.
One of the top run-getters in the tournament, Dhawan has amassed 4058 runs in 143 matches at an average of 33.26 and a strike rate of 124. Known for his brilliant stroke play, the Delhi lad has scored 460 fours in the Indian Premier League so far. He has also hit 85 sixes in the tournament.
Shikhar Dhawan will play for Delhi Capitals in the upcoming IPL campaign.
