#2 David Warner – 36

David Warner has had a terrific time between 2015 and 2017. He simply dominated most batting charts and was a huge part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad’s success during that time. He led SRH to the title in 2016 while they also made it to the playoffs in 2017.
Warner, in that three year period, scored 2051 runs at an average of almost 54 and it included 20 half-centuries which are almost 56% of his total career IPL half-centuries. He is tied at 36 fifties but due to a lesser number of runs, he is ranked second.
#1 Gautam Gambhir – 36

Gautam Gambhir’s name might just send a surprise or two to a few people. But Gambhir was one of the most consistent as far as fifties were concerned. He might not be a player who could run away with the game but he batted long and ensured that the scoreboard was ticking all the time.
The former KKR skipper made 36 fifties while scoring 4217 runs in his IPL career. In fact, he is the only batsman in this list who doesn’t have a hundred in his T20 career. However, the former Delhi opener knew how to get big runs and be effective.
