3. India tour of England 2018: 61 wickets
In the tour to South Africa earlier this year, Indian pacers grabbed 50 wickets of just three Tests. They were high on confidence when India toured England earlier this year.
Ishant Sharma, as any overseas tour, was the lead Indian bowler. He did his job quite fantastically. He took 18 wickets with one five-fer and was the second highest wicket-taker of the series.
Mohammed Shami seized 16 wickets in five Tests and was the second highest wicket-taker for India.
Although Jasprit Bumrah played only three Tests, he was able to secure 14 of English wickets. His five-fer in his returning Test helped India make a comeback in the third Test. He is named as the best Fast-bowler of the present generation.
Hardik Pandya, albeit a batting all-rounder, was able to snag 10 wickets in four Tests. His five wickets of 6 overs in the first Innings led India to a victory in the third Test.
Umesh Yadav played only the first Test and took 3 wickets. Had the batsmen showed a little support to Virat Kohli and the bowlers, India could have won this series quite comprehensively.
