Aiden Markram failed to read one from chinaman Kuldeep Yadav to become Dhoni's 400th ODI victim

Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav was in operation with South Africa's substitute skipper Aiden Markram on strike. Alongside JP Duminy, the youngster had stitched 78 for the second wicket after Hashim Amla was sent back early.

The hosts were chasing 304 to try and comeback in the series whose first two matches they had already host. Kuldeep flighted one beautifully which seemed to move away from the right-hander as Markram failed to read go fully forward to the delivery.

Dhoni finished off yet another stumping in his ODI career – he now sits at 106, a world record with Kumar Sangakkara's 99 coming next – and touched 400 ODI dismissals in his 315th one-day match.

India won the game with the huge margin of 124 runs courtesy of captain Virat Kohli's brave 160* in a total of 303/6 and took a 3-0 lead with as many matches to play in the series.
