MS Dhoni fan gets a job from his idol after getting abandoned by his family

Ravindra Kumar Saini, aged 28, have the practice of distributing sweets to the public on the occasion of Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni’s birthday every year.

The man who has even went to the extreme of mortgaging his ancestral property for celebrating the national skipper’s birthday in 2009, informed that he received a phone call from his hero offering him a job at his farm house in Ranchi.

“On Saturday, I got a call from Dhoni and he offered me the job of caretaker in his farmhouse as a ‘return gift’ on his 32nd (33) birthday,” said Saini who spent about 50,000 Rupees in 2009 on the occasion.

“I saved Rs. 20,000 especially to celebrate his birthday. I mortgaged my ancestral land and arranged for Rs. 30,000 more. Over 250 guests were invited and I had also arranged for a good DJ,” Saini recalled.

“I will happily work even for free; all I want is to be remembered as the greatest fan of his that ever lived,” Saini said, who is looking forward to be the caretaker of the farm house from July 10 onwards.

It is said that Saini left his family and arrived at Ranchi in 2010 where he used to work in roadside hotels for money as he also sold his shop for birthday celebrations. It is also reported by Hindustan Times that the man has been dumped by his girlfriend.

Dhoni’s who turns 33 today is currently in England with the national side.
