Mumbai Indians have named Australian fast bowler Ben Hilfenhaus as their replacement for Aaron Finch who was forced to miss out the remainder of the season after having suffered from a hamstring injury during the match against the Rajasthan Royals. He had a surgery for the injury and is expected to be out for a minimum period of 12 weeks.
Hilfenhaus who recently signed a BBL contract with the Melbourne Stars has previously played for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL in 2012 and 2014 where he picked totally 22 wickets in 17 matches. This is the second high profile name MI have signed after announcing Colin Munro as Josh Hazzlewood’s replacement just a couple of days back.
