14-year-old Mumbai batter smashes record-breaking unbeaten 346 off 157 balls in Women's U19 One Day Trophy [Watch]

Ira Jadhav, the 14-year-old sensation from Mumbai, slammed a record-breaking unbeaten 346 in the Women's U19 One Day Trophy on Sunday (January 12). Her unbeaten triple century came for Mumbai against Meghalaya in a Women's U19 One Day Trophy match in Bangalore.

In this process, she also broke Indian women's cricketer Smriti Mandhana's record for the highest individual U19 score (age-group record). Ira Jadhav, after her scintillating knock, also became the first player (men or women) to smash a triple hundred across all BCCI-organised limited-overs cricket competitions.

During her record-breaking knock in the Women's U19 One Day Trophy, the 14-year-old was unbeaten on 346 off just 157 deliveries. She smacked as many as 42 fours and 16 sixes, showing no mercy on the Meghalaya bowlers whatsoever.

Her fabulous knock also powered Mumbai to a gigantic total of 563/3. This is also the highest total by any Indian domestic women's team across all age groups and tournaments.

Meghalaya could not show any fight as they succumbed to this record-breaking total. They were bowled out for a paltry total of just 19 runs in 25.4 overs as Mumbai recorded a humungous 544-run win in the Women's U19 One Day Trophy clash at the Alur Cricket Ground.

Ira Jadhav, who slammed an unbeaten 346 in the Women's U19 One Day Trophy, went unsold at the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 auction recently.

Interestingly, the 14-year-old had given her name for the WPL 2025 auction which was held in December 2024. Her base price was set at INR 10 lakh in the uncapped category.

However, the youngster did not attract attention from any of the franchises. With no bidders, she eventually remained unsold.

Ira Jadhav, nonetheless, was among the youngest players in the WPL 2025 auction pool. 13-year-old Anshu Nagar was the youngest player, followed by Jadhav, aged 14.
