Andhra Premier League 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Coastal Riders vs Uttarakhand Lions (Updated) ft. Shaik Rasheed & Bandaru Ayyappa

Vizag Warriors and Bezawada Tigers squared off in the second Andhra Premier League 2024 match on Monday, July 1. Meanwhile, Coastal Riders and Uttarakhand Lions locked horns in the third.

Vizag Warriors opted to bowl first and restricted Bezawada Tigers to a modest total of 143/6. Manish Golamaru was the top scorer for the Tigers with 44 runs followed by KP Sai Rahul (30*) and Pyla Avinash (23). Kodavandla Sudharsan picked up a three-wicket haul for the Warriors while Yeddala GK Reddy and Bailapudi Yeswanth took one.

In reply, Bandaru Sujhan (27) and Ashwin Hebbar (35) stitched a 59-run opening partnership and gave the Warriors a good start. Impact player Karan Shinde was dismissed in just three deliveries. However, skipper Srikar Bharat scored a match-winning 46-run knock and helped his side reach the total in 19.1 overs.

Shambu Akhil was the most economical bowler for the Tigers with two wickets while Kavuri Saiteja and KP Sai Rahul picked up one each.

In the following game, Coastal Riders batted first and Uttarakhand Lions bowled them out to 131. Abhishek Reddy (28), Dharani Kumar (25), and MItta Reddy (24) were the major run-getters for the Riders. Bandaru Ayyappa led the Lions bowling attack with a four-fer and Kaldhi Ajay Kumar backed him with a three-wicket haul.

In response, Sanaboyina Tarun and Pinninti Tapaswi scored unbeaten fifties. Their knocks, supported by Gulfaam Saleh’s quick-fire knock off 24 from six, aided them in a comfortable nine-wicket win.

Coastal Riders skipper Shaik Rasheed continues to acquire the first spot with 100 runs.

Uttarakhand Lions top order batters Pinninti Tapaswi (52) and Sanaboyina Tarun (50) scored a half-century each on Monday. They secured the second and third spots, respectively.

P Roshan Kumar moved from second to fourth position with 47 runs. Following closely, Srikar Bharat (46) and Abhishek Reddy (45) occupy the next two positions each.

Bandaru Ayyappa from Uttarakhand Lions picked up a four-fer in his first game and secured the first rank in the most wickets leaderboard. Kaldhi Ajay Kumar took a three-wicket haul in the same match and claimed the second spot.

Vizag Warriors’ Kodavandla Sudharsan also picked up three wickets against Bezawada Tigers and occupied the third position with an economy of 7.50.

Shambu Akhil and Sirla Srinivas picked up two wickets on Monday. They claimed the following two spots with an impressive economy of 4.25 and 6.0, respectively.
