England suffered a dismal nine-wicket loss in the third Test against Pakistan on Saturday, October 26 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. As a result, the visiting side lost the series by a 1-2 margin. They whitewashed Pakistan during their last tour of the country.
The English side began the series with a resounding innings victory in the opening Test in Multan on a batting paradise after notching up 823 runs. Pakistan then made drastic changes to their playing XI for the remaining matches, dropping superstars like Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi.
The pitches also were prepared to assist spinners, utilizing home advantage. The spin duo of Sajid Khan and Noman Ali were too hot to handle for the English batters. They picked up 19 and 20 wickets across the two Tests to win the series for Pakistan.

At the post-match presentation, English skipper Ben Stokes expressed disappointment in losing the series against Pakistan after winning the first Test. He gave credit to the opposition team for executing their plans better and looked forward to improving before coming back next time. Stokes said:
