Team India pacer Akash Deep posted a few pictures of him posing on Sydney streets following the completion of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) against Australia. The fast bowler received a lot of compliments from fans for his style and left-arm seamer Yash Dayal even hailed him as a 'model'.

It is worth mentioning that Deep and Dayal shared the dressing room for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). While Deep was part of India's squad for BGT 2024-25, Dayal was named in the travelling reserves as the injured Khaleel Ahmed's replacement.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, Deep posted:

"Living for the vibes❤️."

Dayal seemed impressed by Deep's pictures as he commented:

"Became model in Australia bro 🔥❤️."

Akash Deep did a decent job with the ball in the BGT 2024-25. However, he was a tad bit unlucky at times and ultimately finished with just five wickets across four innings. He was ruled out of the final Test in Sydney due to a back issue.

India kicked off the series with a thumping 295-run victory in the opener in Perth. Australia bounced back after the initial setback, eventually claiming a 3-1 series victory to reclaim the coveted trophy after 10 years.

Yash Dayal was released from India's travelling reserves during BGT 2024-25 to participate in Vijay Hazare Trophy

Yash Dayal was with the Indian squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy but was released by the team management to participate in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25.

The left-arm bowler represented his home state Uttar Pradesh in the domestic 50-over tournament. The 27-year-old picked up four wickets in three matches at an economy rate of 5.00. The tournament was a mixed bag for Uttar Pradesh.

With three wins and as many losses from six matches, they finished third in Group D standings and failed to qualify for the knockout round.
