Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024 Points Table: Updated Standings after Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers vs Shrachi Rarh Tigers, Match 22

The rain played spoilsport in the 21st match of the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024. The clash between the Rashmi Medinipur Wizards and the Servotech Siliguri Strikers was washed out. In the 22nd match, the Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers beat the Shrachi Rarh Tigers comprehensively.

With this win, the Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers have moved to the top spot in the points table. They have nine points under their belt after six games and are sitting comfortably at the top spot. The Murshidabad Kueens slipped to the second spot after having eight points to their name.

The Shrachi Rarh Tigers also have eight points under their belt and follow the Kueens. The Tigers have a net run rate of +0.165 as compared to +0.876 of the Kueens. The Harbour Diamonds are placed fourth, with five points and a net run rate of +0.07.

The Rashmi Medinipur Wizards have taken their points tally to five and sit below the Diamonds as they have an inferior net run rate of -0.095. The Adamas Howrah Warriors are placed seventh in the points table with four points and a net run rate of -0.184.

The Sobisco Smashers Malda also have four points under their belt. They have a net run rate of -1.170 and follow the Warriors. The Servotech Siliguri Strikers got off the mark in the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024.

The Strikers’ game against the Wizards was abandoned. They have one point now and are placed at the bottom of the points table. They have a net run rate of -0.567.

Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers register 4th win in Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024 to go to the top

The Shrachi Rarh Tigers opted to bat first against the Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers in the 22nd match of the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024. Parna Paul top-scored with 21 for them as they finished their innings on 100/4. Priyosi Aich grabbed two wickets for the Kolkata Tigers.

In reply, skipper Mita Paul and Tithi Das put up a solid opening stand of 82. Paul fell on 34 but Das remained unbeaten on 57 to take her side across the line in 14.4 overs with nine wickets in hand. With this win, the Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers go to the top of the points table.

In the 21st match, the Rashmi Medinipur Wizards were asked to bat first by the Servotech Siliguri Strikers. The Wizards lost three wickets in quick succession but Trishita Sarkar held the innings nicely and was unbeaten on 28 before the rain arrived.

The Wizards were 46/3 after 11 overs before the heavens opened up and no further play was possible as the game was called off. As a result, the Wizards and the Strikers shared a point each. With this, the Strikers opened their account in the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024.
