The 19th Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024 fixture resulted in a narrow two-run victory for the Rashmi Medinipur Wizards over the Murshidabad Kueens. Match No. 20 saw the Adamas Howrah Warriors beat the Servotech Siliguri Strikers by 11 runs.

Despite their first defeat in the Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024, Murshidabad Kueens are still on top with eight points from five games with a net run rate of +0.876. Shrachi Rarh Tigers also remain second with eight points and a net run rate of +0.523.

Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers also retain their third position with three wins, seven points, and a net run rate of +0.965. Similarly, Harbour Diamonds also remain fourth with two wins, as many defeats, and five points.

With their win over the table toppers, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards moved from sixth to fifth position with four points and a net run rate of +0.027. Adamas Howrah Warriors jumped from seventh to sixth position with four points and a net run rate of -0.184.

Sobisco Smashers Malda dropped from fifth to the seventh spot with four points and a net run rate of -1.170.

Crashing to their fifth defeat in as many games, Servotech Siliguri Strikers are yet to win a game in the Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024 and continue to struggle at the bottom of the points table.


Rashmi Medinipur Wizards clinch thrilling win over table-toppers in Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024

In the 19th match of the Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards batted first against table-toppers Murshidabad Kueens. It was a disaster for the Wizards as they were restricted to just 84/8 from their 20 overs.

Ankita Barman (19) and skipper Kashish Agarwal (18) were the two batters with notable contributions in their innings. Shrayosi Pranay Aich and Sandipta Patra picked up two wickets each for Murshidabad.

The Wizards' bowlers were up for the challenge as they held Murshidabad Kueens at 82/8, winning the game by a whisker. Kueens skipper Prativa Rana scored 26 runs as the batting failed otherwise. Ankita grabbed four wickets while Monika Mal chipped in with two for the Wizards.

In the other game of the day, Adamas Howrah Warriors put up a total of 123/6 after batting first. Skipper Dhara Gujjar led from the front with a hard-fought 57 while Diya Nandi and Prativa Mandi scored 22 runs each.

Pampa Sarkar was the pick of the bowlers for the Siliguri Strikers with figures of 2/21.

Priti Mondal top-scored with 43 runs for the Strikers while Brishti Susanta Mahji fought with a 35-run knock. However, they were bowled out for 112, losing the game by 12 runs and facing their fifth consecutive defeat.

Dhara Gujjar starred with the ball as well, picking up three wickets and putting in an all-round display for the Warriors.
