The Murshidabad Kueens and Siliguri Strikers faced off in the 27th Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024 match on Tuesday, June 25. Shrachi Rarh Tigers and Adamas Howrah Warriors met in the next game of the day.

Murshidabad Kueens finished at the top of the T20 League, winning six out of their seven games. Meanwhile, Shrachi Rarh Tigers defeated Adamas Howrah Warriors in their last game and moved from third to second position with 10 points.

Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers, with nine points, descended to third, having won four and losing two out of seven games. Rashmi Medinipur Wizards finished fourth with three wins and as many losses while Adamas Howrah Warriors and Sobisco Smashers Malda ended fifth and sixth, respectively, with six points each.

Harbour Diamonds and Servotech Siliguri Strikers finished in the bottom two positions with five and three points, respectively.


Rarh Tigers register win to finish second as Strikers beat Kueens to grab first victory of the tournament

Murshidabad Kueens opted to bowl first and restricted Siliguri Strikers to 128/4. Priti Mondal (38*), Samayita Adhikary (35), and Priyanka Bala (31) were the major run-getters for the Strikers. Shreya Karar took two wickets for the Kueens while Piyali Ghosh and Koyel Sutradhar picked up one each.

In reply, Riya Goswami and Iti Sarkar lost their wickets early in the powerplay. However, the middle-order batters Hrishita Basu(30), Piyali Ghosh (48*), and Adrita Das (11) made crucial partnerships. But the team fell short by two runs.

In the second game, Adamas Howrah Warriors could score just 97/8. Roshni Khatun led the Shrachi Rarh Tigers bowling assault with a three-wicket haul while Remondina Khatun and Rupal Tiwari claimed two wickets each,

In reply, Tigers struggled to build partnerships but eventually chased the target in 19.3 overs. Dipa Das top scored with an unbeaten 23 followed by Mamani Roy (21), Parna Paul (16), and Sujata Dey (15). Ishita Saha picked up two wickets for the Warriors while Parama Mondal and Prativa Mandi secured one each.
