Jasprit Bumrah once again proved why he is one of the best in the world at the moment as on a placid wicket, his figures of 2/19 helped India bundle out Pakistan for just 191 in their 2023 World Cup game in Ahmedabad on Saturday, October 14.

Bumrah didn't get much help from the pitch or in the air but managed to remain miserly in his opening spell. He was then brought back into the attack during the middle overs, where he produced two sensational deliveries to push Pakistan further into the abyss.

Fans on X were absolutely thrilled to see Jasprit Bumrah back to his vintage best and were mesmerized to see the way he outfoxed the batters with his sheer skills.

India shock Pakistan with flurry of wickets

The decision to bowl first from Rohit Sharma looked like an opportunity missed for India to score big as Pakistan got into a great position with 155/2 at one stage and both their star batters Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan looked well set.

However, no one could have seen what was about to unfold after that as they lost their last eight wickets for just 36 runs and were absolutely rattled by a collective effort from the opposition bowlers.

Mohammed Siraj broke the gates open with a good delivery to clean up Babar and that was followed by quick double strikes from Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah. It almost seemed like the Men in Green aimed for the stars and tried to hit their way out of trouble, instead of looking to reassess their target score.

The Men in Blue would have happily taken a target of 192 at the toss, but the Pakistan speedsters will be keen to make the new ball talk and cause panic in the Indian camp.
