Chhattisgarh Premier League 2024 Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Raigarh Lions vs Rajnandgaon Panthers (Updated) ft. Sangeet Soni

Bastar Bisons faced Surguja Tigers in the second match of the Chhattisgarh Premier League 2024, where the Tigers won the toss and elected to bowl. Sangeet Soni made 84 runs off just 44 deliveries on Friday, June 8. His innings helped the Bisons post a total of 204 runs for the loss of six wickets. Snehil Chadda was the pick of the bowlers for the Tigers and took two wickets for 28 runs in three overs.

Ashutosh Singh, the skipper of the Tigers made 82 runs off 40 deliveries. However, no other batter managed to cross the 25-run mark. The Tigers made 182 runs for the loss of nine wickets and lost the match by 22 runs. Vijay Yadav was the most successful bowler for the Bisons and picked four wickets for 24 runs in four overs.

Rajnandgaon Panthers won the toss in the third game against Raigarh Lions and elected to bat. Pawan Parnate amassed 59 runs off 33 deliveries for the Panthers, which helped the team reach a total of 166 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Praveen Yadav took three wickets for 34 runs in four overs.

Rishabh Tiwari and Dev Aditya Singh added 83 runs for the first wicket. They helped the Lions chase down the target of 167 runs in 18.2 overs with seven wickets in hand. Rishabh was the highest scorer, with 58 runs off 47 deliveries. Jivesh Butte, Dhananjay Nayak, and Dev Singh took one wicket each.
