Cricket Australia reveals its Test Team of 2024, 2 Indians included

Team India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and pacer Jasprit Bumrah have been named in Cricket Australia's Test Team for the year 2024. Additionally, the ace speedster has been named the captain of the side.

Team India opener Jaiswal has been slated to open alongside Ben Duckett, with the former scoring 1478 runs in 15 Tests. The youngster has been in excellent form in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, accumulating 359 runs in four matches.

India's pace spearhead Bumrah has also been in splendid form throughout the year. He has picked up 71 wickets in 13 matches and led India to a famous win over Australia in Perth in November this year.

Along with the two Indians, England's Ben Duckett, Harry Brook, and Joe Root have also been named in the squad. Alexy Carey and Josh Hazlewood from Australia, New Zealand's Matt Henry and Rachin Ravindra alongside South Africa's Keshav Maharaj have also been named, with Sri Lanka's Kamindu Mendis making the cut.
