Delhi Premier League 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after East Delhi Riders vs North Delhi Strikers (Updated) ft. Harsh Tyagi & Vaibhav Kandpal

On Friday, September 6, the Delhi Premier League 2024 continued with East Delhi Riders and North Delhi Strikers squaring off in the first semi-final at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

North Delhi Strikers batted first and posted a challenging target of 174 runs. Sarthak Ranjan (30) and Vaibhav Kandpal (39) added 61 runs for the first wicket. Further, Yajas Sharma and Vaibhav Rawal stitched a 30-run stand for the third wicket after Yash Dabas’ dismissal.

In reply, East Delhi Riders got off to a rough start, losing both openers inside the powerplay at 50/2. Captain Himmat Singh added 27 runs for the third wicket.

However, handy contributions from Hardik Sharma (14) and Mayank Rawat (18), and impact-sub Kavya Gupta’s 25 and Tyagi’s 43 of 17 helped the Riders chase down the target in 17.3 overs for six.

Siddhartha Solanki’s three-wicket haul and Pranshu Vijayran’s two wickets went in vain for the North Delhi Strikers.

Priyansh Arya is holding the top spot in the most runs chart with 602 runs. His teammate Ayush Badoni (515) holds the second position.

Similarly, Himmat Singh (361) and Anuj Rawat (346) are in the following two positions, averaging 72.20 and 49.43, respectively.

Meanwhile, Vaibhav Kandpal (314) and Dhruv Kaushik (294) are also ranked fifth and sixth, respectively. Sujal Singh (280) and Arpit Rana (262) occupy the seventh and eighth places.

Aayush Singh Thakur retained his top spot on the most wickets list with 18 wickets. Harsh Tyagi picked up two wickets on Friday and moved from third to second while his teammate Simarjeet Singh slipped to third with 15 wickets each.

Digvesh Rathi and Prince Yadav remained fourth and fifth, respectively with 13 wickets apiece. Meanwhile, Siddhartha Solanki jumped from eighth to sixth spot with 13 wickets.

Rajneesh Dadar retained seventh while Sumit Kumar slipped from sixth to eighth with 11 wickets each. Similarly, Money Grewal of North Delhi Strikers and Suyash Sharma are still ranked ninth and 10th, respectively, with 11 wickets apiece.
