IPL 2022 champions Gujarat Titans have announced their list of retained players ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. GT have retained five players, namely Shubman Gill, Rashid Khan, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan.
As per reports, Shubman Gill selflessly asked the team officials to keep Rashid Khan as their first retention. Hence, the Afghanistan leg spinner will earn ₹18 crore in IPL 2025, while Gill has agreed for a salary of ₹16.5 crore.
Sai Sudharsan, who joined GT for just ₹20 lakh in 2022, has received a massive pay hike. His salary in 2025 will be ₹8.5 crore. While Sudharsan's salary has gone up, the team's two uncapped retentions Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia have accepted a pay cut.
Tewatia, who earned a jackpot ₹9 crore deal from Gujarat Titans in 2022, has settled for a ₹4 crore contract ahead of IPL 2025. Meanwhile, Shahrukh's salary has come down from ₹7.4 crore to ₹4 crore in just one season.
GT have one RTM card available, and they can use it for any capped cricketer from their IPL 2024 squad. Some of the top candidates for Gujarat's RTM card will be David Miller, Spencer Johnson, Joshua Little, Noor Ahmad, Azmatullah Omarzai, Umesh Yadav, Wriddhiman Saha and even Sandeep Warrier.

GT purse for IPL 2025 Auction
Gujarat Titans will enter the mega auction with a purse value of ₹69 crore. Head coach Ashish Nehra will have to use the rest of the funds wisely to ensure GT bounce back after a disappointing IPL 2024.
