Guyana T10 Blast 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Demerara Pitbulls vs Berbice Pirahnas (Updated) ft. Chandrapaul Hemraj

Essequibo Jaguars faced Essequibo Anacondas in the seventh match of the Guyana T10 Blast 2024. After winning the toss, Essequibo Jaguars elected to bowl.

The Anacondas scored 73 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 10 overs, with only one batter scoring a double-digit score. Dwayne Dick was the pick of the bowlers, taking two wickets for two runs in one over.

The Jaguars made 72 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 10 overs and lost the match by one run. Chandrapaul Hemraj was the highest scorer for the Jaguars and made 39 runs off 16 deliveries.

In the eighth match, Demerara Pitbulls won the toss and elected to bat against the Berbice Pirahnas. Sachin Singh led the charge with the bat for the Pitbulls and scored 34 runs off 19 deliveries. His innings helped the team post a total of 93 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 10 overs. Sagar Hatiramani took two wickets for 18 runs for the Pirahnas.

The Pirahnas made only 79 runs for the loss of nine wickets and lost the match by 14 runs. Rickey Sargent and Rajiv Ivan were the only batters who scored more than 20 runs for the team. Leon Swamy, Christopher Barnwell and Keon Sinclair took two wickets each for the Pitbulls. Swamy won the Player of the Match award.
