West Indies spinner Kevin Sinclair has opened up on his famous cartwheel celebration that he deployed on Day 1 of the 2nd Test against England at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. The Guyanese revealed that he started practising at the age of 8 and perfected it over the years.
Sinclair came into the side last minute for Gudakesh Motie, who had suffered an illness. The 24-year-old picked up the crucial scalp of Harry Brook, who threatened to take the game away quickly from the tourists and added Gus Atkinson to his wickets column. Having done the cartwheel celebration first during the Australia tour earlier this year, he did so again in Nottingham.
Speaking after the day's play, Sinclair said how he kept practising it at the back of his garden. The youngster elaborated, as quoted by ICC:
"That's my trademark celebration, from where I come from. Whenever I get a wicket, I just do it for everyone from there. It all started at the tender age of eight, practicing it over and over in the back garden. I know what I'm doing, I've perfected it over the years."

Jayden Seales and Kavem Hodge also chipped in with two wickets, while Shamar Joseph took one. However, Alzarri Joseph was the pick of the bowlers with 3 scalps as the Caribbeans bowled out the hosts for 416.
West Indies' sloppy catching allows Ollie Pope to hammer his 6th Test hundred
Despite dismissing Zak Crawley for a duck in the opening over, the West Indies failed to retain any control of the game. Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope came out swinging, with the former slamming 71 off 59 deliveries with 14 boundaries. The pair brought up the fastest team fifty in the history, slamming it in 4.2 overs.
Pope reached his century off 142 balls before perishing for 121. The likes of Ben Stokes (69), Harry Brook (36), Jamie Smith (36), and Chris Woakes (37) also chipped in with crucial runs.
West Indies trail the three-match series 1-0 after losing by an innings and 114 runs at Lord's.
