ICC Cricket World Cup League Two Most Runs and Most Wickets after Scotland vs Oman (Updated) ft. George Munsey and Jasper Davidson

Scotland faced Oman in the 13th match of ICC CWC League 2 on Tuesday, July 16, at the Forthill in Dundee. Scotland elected to bowl after winning the toss.

Oman lost their first two wickets for 22 runs and kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Zeeshan Maqsood remained unbeaten on 40 runs off 84 deliveries. He was the only batter who made more than 25 runs for the team.

Oman were bundled out for 123 runs in 38 overs. Jasper Davidson was the pick of the bowlers for Scotland and took four wickets for 23 runs in eight overs.

Scotland had a flying start to their innings. George Munsey and Charlie Tear added 83 runs for the first wicket. Munsey made 47 runs off 34 deliveries before getting dismissed. Charlie scored 39 runs off 32 deliveries.

Scotland scored 99 runs for the loss of two wickets in 12.2 overs before the match was interrupted by rain. The match couldn’t be resumed from that point and was ultimately abandoned.

It was Oman’s first match of the ICC CWC League 2, while Scotland have won one out of four matches. Oman will now face Namibia on Thursday, July 18, while Scotland will be up against Namibia on Saturday, July 20.
