Germany defeated Sweden in a high-scoring thriller in the seventh game of the qualifiers, while Jersey battered Switzerland by 167 runs in the eighth game of the tournament.
A resounding victory against Switzerland helps them stay atop the group A points table of the qualifiers by winning four points in two games. With two wins so far, Jersey has the best net run rate of +8.300 in the tournament.
Croatia is in the second position in Group A with one victory in the one game played so far and a tally of two points. Croatia has a net run rate of +0.396.
Belgium is in the third position with two points in two games and an NRR of +0.163.
Switzerland and Serbia are fourth and fifth in Group A, with zero points so far and net run rates of -4.511 and -8.250, respectively.

Norway and Jersey register comfortable victories; Germany wins a high-scoring thriller
Slovenia elected to bat first in the first game of the day against Norway. The decision to bat first backfired big time, as Norway bundled them out for a paltry 49. Raza Iqbal and Anil Parmar led the Norway bowling attack, with three wickets each to their name.
Khizer Ahmed (29) ensured that Norway crossed the finish line, winning the game by eight wickets and a colossal margin of 14 overs.
In the second qualifier of the day, Germany showcased brilliant teamwork by batting first as they posted a mammoth 220/4 in 20 overs against Sweden. Harmonjot Singh (70 off 35) and Faisal Mubashir (47 off 30) top scored for Germany.
Chasing 221, Abdur Rahman Sudais (36 off 24), Choudry Share Ali (58 off 27), and Sami Rahmani got Sweden ever so close to winning the game, but they just fell short of two runs with Germany winning the seventh qualifier of the tournament.
The eighth qualifier of the tournament saw Jersey bat first, posting a massive 219/9 in 20 overs against Switzerland. Jonty Jenner (67 off 30) and Charlie Brennan (52 off 25) were the primary contributors for Jersey, while Ali Nayyer took three wickets for Switzerland.
The second innings was a complete contrast to the first, as Switzerland were blown out for 52 in just 12.1 overs, with Benjamin Ward (4/6) and Nick Greenwood (3/12) being the main wreckers in chief for Jersey. This comprehensive bowling performance ensured Jersey a 167-run victory over Switzerland.
