The Bayer Uerdingen Cricket Ground in Krefeld hosted a triple-header on July 13 for the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe Qualifier B. Switzerland rolled over Croatia in the only Group A match of the day, while Norway beat Gibraltar, and Sweden battered Slovenia in the other two Group B fixtures.
Switzerland’s seven-wicket win over Croatia in match number 19 of the tournament helped them accumulate four points to finish the league stage in fourth place in the Group A points table.
Jersey remains top with three wins from four matches with a strong NRR of 7.333, while Croatia and Belgium are second and third respectively. Serbia, with four defeats in as many outings, finished at the bottom of the five-team points table.

Norway routed Gibraltar, and Sweden walloped Slovenia in match number 18 and 20 respectively to bring the Group B set of fixtures to a conclusion.
Norway qualified for the finals owing to their unbeaten run, while hosts Germany finished second with five points from four games. Sweden, with four points, Slovenia, with three points, and winless Gibraltar round up the five-team Group B ladder by finishing third, fourth,and fifth respectively.

In a mismatch of epic proportions, unbeaten Norway extended their winning streak to four matches by defeating winless Gibraltar by six runs (DLS method).
After scoring 175-5, courtesy of a 32-ball 71* from Wahidullah Sahak, Norway restricted Gibraltar to 126-6 from 13 overs before rain halted play in Krefeld.
In the second match of the day, the 19th game of the tournament, Croatia made 104-7 in 20 overs. Kenardo Fletcher picked up three wickets while Ali Nayyer, Ashwin Vinod and Aneesh Kumar claimed a wicket each for Switzerland.
Chasing 105, Switzerland captain Faheem Nazir made 24, while wicketkeeper Ahmed Hassan produced 32* to steer the team to a seven-wicket win with more than seven overs to spare.
Later in the day, Sweden routed Slovenia by six wickets by chasing down a 102-run target in 9.4 overs. Prashant Shukla (3-7), Hamid Mahood (2-10) and Khalid Zahid (2-30) played starring roles with the ball before opening batter Ajay Mundra smacked 56* from 29 to steer Sweden past the finishing line.
