[In Picture] Yuzvendra Chahal shares another cryptic quote after unfollowing wife Dhanashree Verma on Instagram

India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal took to Instagram, sharing yet another cryptic quote. The cricketer shared one of the Greek philosopher Socrates' quotes.

The quote, shared on his Instagram story, read:

''Silence is a profound melody, for those who can hear it above all the noise.'

This is not the first instance of the leg-spinner sharing a cryptic quote on social media. He previously shared a post after unfollowing his wife Dhanashree Verma on Instagram. Now both Chahal and Dhanashree have unfollowed each other on the social media platform.

Chahal and Dhanashree have not spoken publicly about the matter yet. The cricketer has also deleted or archived photos featuring Dhanashree from his profile.

When did Yuzvendra Chahal last play for India?

Yuzvendra Chahal is currently struggling to regain his position in the Indian team. He last played an international match for India against the West Indies (T20I) in Lauderhill in 2023. He was a part of the 2024 T20 World Cup squad but did not feature in the tournament at all as the Men in Blue went on to win the trophy.

Yuzvendra Chahal was last in action in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in December 2024. He has so far played 72 ODIs for India and picked up 121 wickets at an average of 27.13 and an economy rate of 5.26.

The 34-year-old has also played 80 T20Is for the Men in Blue, grabbing 96 wickets at an average of 25.09, including two five-wicket hauls. With 205 wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL), he has been a consistent performer in the shorter format.

He was bought by the Punjab Kings for INR 18 crore at the IPL 2025 auction in November last year.
