Indian cricketer Bhuvneshwar Kumar took to social media on Saturday, November 23, to wish his wife Nupur Nagar on their wedding anniversary. The couple married in a traditional ceremony in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, in 2017.
They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Acsah, in November 2021. As they celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary, the pacer shared a heartfelt post on Instagram with the caption:
“Happy anniversary to my life partner and here’s to many more years of happiness ahead.”
On the cricket front, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will take the field later today as Uttar Pradesh face Delhi in their opening match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He will also captain the squad which features players like Piyush Chawla, Rinku Singh, and Shivam Mavi.

The 34-year-old made his debut for India in December 2012 during an ODI series against Pakistan in Chennai. He marked his first ball in ODI cricket by dismissing Mohammad Hafeez and finished the match with two wickets.
The Uttar Pradesh cricketer was also part of the Indian squad that won the 2013 Champions Trophy. His most recent appearance came in 2022 in a match against South Africa. Over the course of 121 games, the right-arm pacer has taken 141 wickets and scored 552 runs, including a fifty.
Bhuvneshwar has also represented India in 21 Tests, taking 63 wickets, including four five-wicket hauls, with his last appearance in the format coming in 2018. Meanwhile, he remains India's third-highest wicket-taker in T20Is, with 90 wickets to his name in 87 games, including two five-wicket hauls.
His most recent appearance in this format was in November 2022, after which he has been out of the squad. The pacer has also been released by SunRisers Hyderabad and will be one of the players to watch out for at the IPL 2025 mega-auction.
