Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar was in attendance on Day 1 (Saturday, December 14) of India's ongoing third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 against Asutralia. She was spotted in the stands on the opening day at the Gabba, Brisbane.
Sara was in the company of former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan. Before heading to the stadium for the match, she posted an Instagram story, sharing the view of a Brisbane street.
A few fans took to social media to post pictures of Sara and Zaheer in the stands at the Gabba.
Apart from Sara, Zaheer and his wife Sagarika Ghatge, actors Ishaan Khatter, Saiyami Kher, Prachi Desai, film director Kabir Khan and his better half Mini Mathur were also present at the Gabba on Day 1 of the ongoing third Border-Gavaskar Trophy series Test.
Meanwhile, Team India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to field first at the Gabba. With the series leveled at 1-1, the third Test promises to be an enthralling battle between the two cricketing giants.
Sara Tendulkar recently joined the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation as director
Sara Tendulkar was recently appointed as the director of the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation, a philanthropic initiative of Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali Tendulkar.
Sharing the news of Sara joining the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation, Tendulkar wrote on the microblogging platform X:
"I’m overjoyed to share that my daughter Sara Tendulkar has joined the @STF_India as Director. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London. As she embarks on this journey to empower India through sports, healthcare, and education, it serves as a reminder of how global learning can come full circle."
On the professional front, Sara has tried her hand at modeling. She debuted as a model in 2021, featuring in an advertising campaign for London-based clothing brand Self-Potrait.
