Indian cricketer Navdeep Saini took to social media on Thursday, January 9, to share photos from his visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The 32-year-old pacer was joined by his parents, Amarjeet Singh and Gurmeet Kaur, along with his wife, Swati Asthana.
Navdeep married his long-time girlfriend, Swati, on November 23, 2023. Swati is a fashion, beauty, travel, and lifestyle vlogger.
On January 9, Navdeep shared heartfelt moments with his family at the Golden Temple, offering prayers at the sacred shrine. He captioned the post:
“Peace, prayers, and precious moments at the Golden Temple with family.”
On the cricketing front, Navdeep was recently in action for Delhi in the 2024-25 Vijay Hazare Trophy. The pacer took five wickets in the four matches he played.
However, Delhi had a tough campaign, winning three and losing three of their six games. They finished fourth in Group E, missing out on a spot in the knockout rounds.

The 32-year-old Navdeep Saini went unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Despite setting his base price at INR 75 lakh, he failed to attract any bids. So far, Saini has played 32 matches in the IPL, taking 23 wickets.
Meanwhile, he made his international debut for India in a T20I against the West Indies in 2019. Since then, he has featured in 11 T20Is, taking 13 wickets. That same year, he also made his ODI debut against the West Indies and has since taken six wickets in eight ODI matches.
Saini was also a member of India's victorious squad in the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where he featured in two matches and claimed four wickets.
The 32-year-old has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket, claiming 203 wickets in 72 first-class matches, and will be aiming for a timely return to the national team.
