Team India skipper Rohit Sharma and young batter Sarfaraz Khan were seen enjoying a day out ahead of the fourth Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 Test in Melbourne. With the series tied at 1-1, the penultimate Test of the five-match series will get underway on Boxing Day (December 26).

The teams had a good gap between the third and fourth Tests and several Indian players were seen enjoying on the streets of Melbourne amid their busy training schedule. In a recent set of pictures that have landed on social media, Rohit can be seen hanging out with Sarfaraz.

Rohit donned a fancy shirt, black shorts, and white sunglasses, while Sarfaraz wore a white t-shirt and paired it with red shorts. Both the cricketers looked dapper in their summer outfits and were appreciated by several fans on social media.

How have Rohit Sharma and Sarfaraz Khan performed so far in BGT 2024-25?

Middle-order batter Sarfaraz Khan has yet to feature in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The team management preferred wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel ahead of him in the first Test in Perth. The right-handed batter returned with scores of 11 and one across two innings in that fixture, which India won by 295 runs.

After KL Rahul scored runs at the top of the order in Perth, Rohit Sharma took up the No. 6 role from the second match onwards. He missed the first Test due to the birth of his second child. Rohit's dismal form has continued in this series, with the senior batter aggregating only 19 runs across three innings.

The 37-year-old has had a difficult time in red-ball cricket this year, aggregating only 607 runs in 24 innings at an average of 26.39, including two fifties and as many centuries.

He will look to return to form as India aim to bounce back and win the Melbourne Test in a bid to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
