Ravichandran Ashwin's wife, Prithi Narayanan took to Instagram to share pictures post India's Test win over Bangladesh at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The fixture saw local boy Ashwin lead the Indian team to a 280-run victory.
Prithi was present in the stadium, cheering for her husband throughout the game, sharing stories daily. Notably, Ashwin's father also marked his attendance, while celebrating his son's century and also joining him in the field after the game.
The first photo shared by Prithi saw her sharing a laugh with the star cricketer, while the second one featured Ashwin sitting on the balcony with her daughter. In the third picture, the couple's daughter was seen enjoying the match proceedings from the stands. The final picture captures a view of the stadium, which Prithi terms as a "special place".

Ravichandran Ashwin's all-round performance helps India maintain dominance in WTC 2023-25
The veteran spinner was sensational at his home ground in both departments. With India struggling at 144/6 in the first innings, Ravichandran Ashwin slammed 113 and stitched a 199-run stand with Ravindra Jadeja (86) to boost the team's score to 376. In the second innings, he picked up six wickets to pave the way for the Indian team to win the game easily.
With this performance, Ashwin now sits in the eighth position among all-time highest wicket-takers in Tests with 522 scalps. Moreover, he became the first player to score a century and take a fifer at the same venue twice in Test cricket.
Meanwhile, India continued their dominance in the longest format and retained their top position in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 standings. They have seven wins in 10 games with a win percentage of 71.67.
