IPL 2024 Orange Cap & Purple Cap standings after GT vs RCB match (Updated)

Gujarat Titans (GT) took on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 45th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 in Ahmedabad. RCB won the toss and elected to bowl.

GT made 200 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs. Sai Sudharsan was their highest scorer with 84 runs off 49 deliveries. Shahrukh Khan also made a half-century. Swapnil Singh, Mohammad Siraj, and Glenn Maxwell took one wicket each for RCB.

RCB completed the chase in just 16 overs with nine wickets in hand. Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 70 runs off 44 deliveries, while Will Jacks hit his maiden IPL century off 41 deliveries. Sai Kishore took the only wicket for GT.

Virat Kohli is still the leading run-scorer this season with 500 runs in 10 matches. Sai Sudharsan has jumped to second place from eighth with 418 runs in 10 innings.

Sanju Samson moved to third with 385 runs in nine matches at a strike rate of 161.08. KL Rahul slipped to fourth from third. He has 378 runs in nine outings at an average of 42 and a strike rate of 144.27.

Rishabh Pant is fifth with 371 runs in 10 innings. Sunil Narine is sixth with a total of 357 runs in eight games. Ruturaj Gaikwad has moved to seventh with 349 runs in eight matches.

Tilak Varma is eighth with 336 runs in nine innings at a strike rate of 158.49. Riyan Parag is still in ninth place and has made 332 runs in eight innings at a strike rate of 159.61. Travis Head is in 10th position with 325 runs in seven matches.

T Natarajan is in fifth place with 12 wickets in six outings. Kuldeep Yadav is sixth with 12 wickets while Sam Curran is seventh with as many dismissals but a worse economy rate.

Mustafizur Rahman is in eighth place and has picked up 12 wickets in seven innings. Gerald Coetzee is ninth with 12 wickets and Arshdeep Singh is 10th with the same number of wickets.
