On the fourth ball of the second over in Sharjah's innings, Mark Adair bowled a length delivery that shaped away outside off. Jason Roy tried to steer the ball to the point region but only managed to edge it through to the keeper.

Despite the clear contact, umpire Pakteen ruled it not out. The Gulf Giants then called for a review, and UltraEdge confirmed a clear spike, leading the umpire to overturn his decision to out.
