The West Australian newspaper is at it again, targeting Virat Kohli on their back page. The newspaper took a dig at the Indian batter after Day 1 (Thursday, December 26) of the ongoing fourth Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 Test in Melbourne.
After Day 2 (Friday, December 27), the newspaper has taken yet another dig at Virat. The back page carries an image of the former Indian captain with the title 'KARMA' in bold and capital letters.
Further, the paper goes with the headline - "Clown Kohli's horror day at the MCG", referring to his performance with the bat. Virat Kohli was dismissed for 36, getting a start but failing to convert the same.
The newspaper also wrote that Kohli spoiled his young teammate's run, referring to the Yashasvi Jaiswal run-out, stating that he had a miserable day. They also went to the extent of writing that the Australian supporters had the last laugh as Kohli failed to score.

Australian newspaper called Virat Kohli 'Clown Kohli' after Day 1 of 4th BGT 2024-25 Test
The West Australian newspaper took a brutal dig at Virat Kohli after the first day of the ongoing 4th BGT 2024-25 Test in Melbourne. After he was involved in a controversial shoulder barge with young debutant Sam Konstas, the newspaper targeted the Indian cricketer, calling him 'Clown Kohli.'
Their back page carried an image of him with a joker nose ball, which can also be seen in the bottom right corner of their back page after the second day. The newspaper called him a 'sook' for 'deliberately bumping' into Sam Konstas and wrote that he escaped a ban that would have ruled him out of the Sydney Test.
Ever since the controversial incident, the Australian media, including some of their former cricketers, have been after Kohli, calling him out for his behavior on the field against a 19-year-old debutant.
