Kerala Cricket League 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Trivandrum Royals vs Kochi Blue Tigers (Updated) ft. Jobin Joy & KM Asif

On Monday, September 2, Kochi Blue Tigers and Aries Kollam Strikers squared off in the 11th match of the Kerala Cricket League 2024. Thrissur Titans and Calicut Globstars met in the next game.

The Blue Tigers batted first and set a modest total of 147-9. Anand Krishnan (54) and Jobin Joy (50) scored half-centuries, while KM Asif secured a four-fer and Sharafuddeen N M claimed two wickets.

The Kollam Strikers failed to chase the target, as they were bowled out for 129 in 18.1 overs. Sharafuddeen N M top-scored with 49 followed by Vathsal Govind (23) and Mohammed Shanu (20). Basil Thampi chipped in three wickets, while Jerin PS, Anoop G, and Shine John Jacob picked up two wickets each.

In the next game, the Globstars scored 183-8, thanks to Maruthungal Rasheed Ajinas (59) and Salman Nizar (45). Monu Krishna claimed three wickets for the Titans.

In response, the Titans were bowled out for 177, courtesy of three-wicket hauls from Akhil Scaria and Akhil Dev V apiece. Imran Ahammed scored a half-century, while Vishnu Vinod scored 33, and Varun Nayanar added 30.

Jobin Joy (194) moved from third to second after scoring 51 runs in the previous Kerala Cricket League 2024 game. Following closely, Salman Nizar (190) remains second, while Mohammed Azharuddeen (149) dropped to third.

Abhishek Nair and Maruthungal Ajinas occupy the next wo spots with 138 runs each, while Anand Krishan (129) and Abdul Basith (125) follow them in sixth and seventh spots, respectively.

The Thrissur Titans trio of Vishnu Vinod (112), who jumped to eighth, Akshay Manohar (108), who dropped to ninth, and Imran Ahammed (90) completes the top-10 leaderboard, respectively.

After a three-wicket haul, Basil Thampa remains atop the wickets leaderboard at the Kerala Cricket League 2024 with 12 wickets. Sharafuddeen NM took three wickets to remain second with 10 wickets.

Akhil Scaria claimed three wickets and is third with nine wickets. KM Asif took a four-fer and is fourth with eight wickets. Meanwhile, Anand Joseph, NP Basil, Biju Narayan, Jerin PS and Fazil Fanood occupy the next five spots, respectively, with seven wickets apiece. Imran Ahammed remains 10th with five wickets.
