“Learn how to tie your own shoe lace first” - Angad Bedi lashes out at batter over antics in 5th BGT 2024-25 Test

Indian actor Angad Bedi has lashed out at Australian batter Sam Konstas for his antics during the fifth Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 Test. Angad is in Australia, attending the fifth Test in Sydney.

The actor has taken a dig at Sam Konstas, who was involved in a heated argument with Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah on the opening day (Friday, January 3) of the fifth BGT 2024-25 Test.

Konstas is just 19 years old and has already involved himself in controversies with big players such as Virat Kohli and Bumrah on the field. Angad took to Instagram, sharing a story where he has asked the young lad to learn to tie his shoe lace first.

As Konstas did not hold back and went after Bumrah, Angad wrote that the 19-year-old is just noise and has to earn his respect. The youngster has also received criticism for not concentrating on his game at the beginning of his career but getting involved in duels with the opposition players on the field.

Sam Konstas involved in heated duel with Indian captain on Day 1 of fifth BGT 2024-25 Test

On the first day of the fifth BGT 2024-25 Test in Sydney, Australian batter Sam Konstas went after Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian captain. Bumrah was bowling the final over of the day. Before the start of a delivery, the pacer was all set as Usman Khawaja, who was on strike, moved away.

Bumrah had to go back to take his position and expressed his frustration over the same. Konstas, who was at the non-strikers' end, replied to Bumrah and went after the pacer. Bumrah walked towards the Australian batter too as the umpire had to intervene.

Right after, Bumrah got Khawaja's wicket and moved towards Konstas. The entire Indian team charged toward the batter in celebration as a result of his heated exchange with the Indian skipper.
