Team India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal's wife Dhanashree Verma has broken the silence on rumors of her split with her husband. The rumors of Dhanashree and Yuzvendra splitting up surfaced on the internet after the couple unfollowed each other on social media platform Instagram.

Over the last few days, Chahal has been posting cryptic quotes on his Instagram story, while Dhanashree did not comment on the rumors until January 8. Taking to her Instagram stories, the popular choreographer labeled the rumors as 'baseless' and slammed the people who trolled her on the internet.

Describing how the rumors of divorce have hurt her family, Dhanashree Verma wrote on Instagram:

"The past few days have been incredibly tough for my family and me. What's truly upsetting is the baseless writing, devoid of fact-checking, and the character assassination of my reputation by faceless trolls spreading hate. I've worked hard for years to build my name and integrity."

"My silence is not a sign of weakness; but of strength. While negativity spreads easily online, it takes courage and compassion to uplift others. I choose to focus on my truth and move forward, holding onto my values. The truth stands tall without the need for justification. Om Namah Shivaay," she added.

Dhanashree Verma shared her last Instagram post 6 days ago

Dhanashree Verma has been quite active on social media. She has over six million followers on Instagram alone, and six days ago, she made her last post, where she shared an image in a black outfit.

One of the photos in the carousel also featured a photo of Dhanashree with her friends.

"Singing, acting and stealing the show," Dhanashree wrote.

The post has received 339,000 likes and 4,000 comments. A majority of the comments were from faceless trolls, which Dhanashree Verma mentioned in her latest Instagram story.
