“Our hearts just grew bigger” - Shivam Dube announces birth of baby girl Mehwish

Indian cricketer Shivam Dube shared the joyous news on social media on Saturday, January 4, announcing the birth of his second child with his wife Anjum Khan. The couple tied the knot on July 16, 2021, in Mumbai. Their first child, a son named Ayaan Dube, was born on February 13, 2022.

On January 4, he took to Instagram to announce the arrival of his second child, a baby girl. The 31-year-old captioned the post:

“03.01.2025. It’s a girl. Our hearts just grew bigger as we became a family of 4. Welcome Mehwish Shivam Dube. #complete family.”

On the cricketing front, the all-rounder is currently participating in the 2024-25 Vijay Hazare Trophy with Mumbai. In three matches, the southpaw has accumulated 80 runs and taken one wicket.

Shivam was also a member of the Mumbai squad that triumphed in the 2024 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He featured in five matches, scoring 151 runs at an impressive average of 75.50, which included a match-winning knock of 71* against Services.

Shivam Dube made his India debut in a T20I match against Bangladesh in November 2019. The 31-year-old was also a part of India's squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup, where he played in every match. The left-handed batter scored 133 runs across eight innings, averaging 22.16. In the final against South Africa, Dube contributed a crucial 27 off 16 balls as India posted a total of 176.

Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, India won the match by seven runs, clinching their second T20 World Cup title and ending an 11-year wait for an ICC trophy. To date, Dube has featured in 33 T20Is for India, amassing 448 runs at an average of 29.86, including three half-centuries. He has also taken 11 wickets.

Moreover, Dube has also played four ODIs for India, scoring 43 runs and claiming one wicket.
