Playing in his first-ever Test on Australian soil, Jaiswal bagged a duck in the first innings of the Perth Test. The talented youngster turned things around in the subsequent essay, delivering a sensational knock.
Jaiswal hit 15 fours and three sixes during his stay at the crease, frustrating the Australian bowlers with both attack and defence. It is worth mentioning that this was the 22-year-old's fourth Test century.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul helped India claim a commanding position in the match with their 201-run opening partnership in the second innings. The two became the first Indian openers to stitch together a double-century partnership in Test cricket on Australian soil.
India had earlier claimed a crucial 46-run first-innings lead after bundling out the hosts for just 104. At the time of writing, India's lead currently stands at 445. They are 399/5 after 124 overs.
Virat Kohli and Washington Sundar are currently batting on 63* and 22*, respectively. Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Marsh and Nathan Lyon have claimed one wicket each.
