Derbyshire trumped Lancashire in the 2024 Royal London One Day Cup as they chased down their required target with nine wickets and 181 deliveries to spare in the 22nd match of the season. Somerset and Kent emerged victorious against Durham and Hampshire in the 23rd and 24th games of the tournament, respectively.

Leicestershire won a close encounter at the County Ground, Cheltenham, as they beat Essex in a close encounter in the fourth match of the day and overall 25th fixture of the 2024 Royal London One Day Cup.

Glamorgan chased a total of 275 runs in just 45.3 overs as they defeated Nottinghamshire with eight wickets in hand.

Derbyshire brawl over Lancashire in the first fixture of the day; Yorkshire beat Sussex by 49 runs

Derbyshire elected to bowl first against Lancashire in the first game of the day at County Ground Derby. The decision to bowl first paid instant dividends as Derbyshire bowled Lancashire out for a paltry 99 in just 20 overs. Pat Brown (5/37) was the wrecker-in-chief for Derbyshire.

Derbyshire batters Luis Reece (52 off 63) and Brooke Guest (37 off 36) chased down the target in 19.5 overs, helping their side with this game by nine wickets and 181 deliveries to spare.

Yorkshire put up a total of 261 runs in 49.4 overs against Sussex in the 27th game of the tournament. Skipper Shan Masood (63 off 79) top-scored for Yorkshire, while Henry Crocombe took four wickets for Sussex.

Contributions from skipper Tom Clark (55 off 66), Charlie Tear (43 off 53), and Oli Carter (43 off 55) weren't enough for Sussex, as they fell short of 49 runs chasing 262. Ben Coad, Dom Bess, and Dan Moriarty took two wickets each for Yorkshire.
