Indian cricketer Sanju Samson was spotted sharpening his skills during a net session at the Sharjah Cricket Academy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). While enjoying some downtime in the UAE with his wife, Charulatha Remesh, the Kerala-born player wasted no time getting back to training.
With the T20I series against England on the horizon, the 30-year-old was seen putting in the hard yards in preparation for the upcoming challenge.

Sanju was last in action during the 2024 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Kerala, where he scored 136 runs in five innings, including a half-century.
Meanwhile, the Indian men's team’s five-match T20I series against England is set to begin on January 22, with Kolkata hosting the first match.
The second game will take place on January 25 in Chennai, followed by the third T20I in Rajkot on January 28. The final two matches will be held in Pune and Mumbai on January 31 and February 2, respectively.

Sanju Samson scored the most runs for India in T20Is in 2024
Sanju Samson was part of the Indian squad that won the 2024 T20 World Cup, although he didn’t get any playing time. Despite this, he finished the year as India’s highest run-scorer in T20Is.
The 30-year-old accumulated 436 runs in 12 innings at an average of 43.60, including one fifty, three centuries, and five ducks. He also became the first player to score three T20I centuries in a calendar year. Overall, Sanju has scored 810 runs in 37 T20Is, with two fifties and three hundreds to his name.
