Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced the schedule for the four-match T20I series against India at home in November. The Proteas will host the Men in Blue from November 8 to 15 as fans will see two global cricketing powerhouses go toe to toe.

The series commences at the Kingsmead in Durban on November 8, before its shift to St. George's Park in Gqeberha on 10. The final two T20Is will take place at Centurion and DP World Wanderers Stadium on 13 and 15, respectively.

CSA Chairperson Mr. Lawson Naido thanked the BCCI for their continuous support and hopes to see fans fill the stadium as it happens on every occasion. As quoted by cricket.com.za, Naidoo said:

"I would like to thank the BCCI for their continued support to South Africa’s cricket, and world cricket in general. Any tour by the Indian cricket team to our shores is filled with amazing camaraderie and exciting cricket, and I know our fans will be eagerly awaiting this series which will showcase the exceptional talent from both teams.”

India last played in the Proteas' backyard earlier this year and locked horns in all three formats. The T20I series resulted in a 1-1 draw, with both teams sharing the trophy. The visitors won the 50-over series, while the Test series also ended in a draw.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah reflected that the Men in Blue has always been adored by fans of both sides alike and expects the upcoming series to be nothing short of exciting.

"India and South Africa have always shared a deep and strong bond, one that both nations take great pride in," Shah said. "The Indian Cricket Team has consistently received immense appreciation and love from South African fans, and this sentiment is equally strong among Indian fans towards the South African side.
"I am confident that the upcoming series will once again highlight the on-field cricketing excellence and deliver enthralling, high-intensity contests."

The tickets will reportedly go on sale from August 19. The two sides could also meet in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 at some stage. The BCCI announced the fixtures for the home season on Thursday and will host Bangladesh, New Zealand, and England across all formats.
