St Lucia T10 Blast 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Gros Islet Cannon Blasters vs Babonneau Leatherbacks (Updated) ft. Tarrique Edward

The 21st and 22nd matches of the St. Lucia T10 Blast 2024 took place on Thursday, April 18. Soufriere Sulphur lost to Mon Repos Stars by eight wickets in the 21st match.

Batting first, Soufriere Sulphur posted 108 runs. Junior Henry (32 off 23) and Dwight Thomas (48 off 24) were the standout batters for the team. As for Mon Repos Stars, Dichege Henry and Jamal Lesmond picked one wicket each.

In reply, Mon Repos Stars chased down the target in just eight overs, with Jason Simon (44 off 20) and Rohan Lesmond (52 off 24) playing match-winning knocks.

In the second game of the day, Gros Islet Cannon Blasters took on Babonnueu Leatherbacks, with the former winning by 25 runs. The Blasters posted a formidable score of 102 runs in 10 overs batting first.

Jard Goodman starred with the bat, amassing 39 off 26 balls. Tyrel Chicot (21 off 11) and Magaran Shoulette (12 off 3) made handy contributions as well.

In reply, Babonneau Leatherbacks fell 25 runs short. The likes of Johnell Eugene (12 off 9), Shervon Joseph (10 off 5), Zachary Edmund (17 off 9), and Joshua Cepal (13) got starts but failed to convert them into big scores.

Meanwhile, Tarrique Edward was the pick of the bowlers for Gros Islet Cannon Blasters, claiming three wickets for 21 runs in two overs. Darvin Forde also claimed two wickets.
