"Sukoooon" - Suryakumar Yadav reacts to his wife Devisha Shetty's birthday wish

Team India's T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav turned 34 on Saturday, September 14. The swashbuckling batter received a heartfelt note from his wife Devisha Shetty on his special day.

Taking to her Instagram account, Devisha penned a sweet note, calling Suryakumar the best decision of her life. Wishing her better half a happy birthday, she wrote:

"Happy happy birthday to my best friend, husband , lover, my world and the best decision of my life! Thankful for you every single day❤️❤️ you make this world a better place and I don’t know what I’d do without you❤️❤️ love you now and forever ❤️❤️❤️🧿🧿🧿🌍."

Responding to Devisha's birthday wish, Suryakumar shared an Instagram story, describing their relationship as 'Sukoon' (peace).

Suryakumar Yadav and Devisha Shetty studied together at R.A.Podar College Of Commerce & Economics. After dating for a few years, the couple tied the knot on July 7, 2016.

On several occasions, Suryakumar has spoken about how Devisha has been a pillar of support and played a big role in his success. Devisha is a classical dancer and is a dance coach in Mumbai.

Suryakumar Yadav missed the first two rounds of Duleep Trophy 2024 due to an injury

Suryakumar Yadav was named in the Team C squad for the first round of the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024. However, the right-hander didn't feature in his team's opening fixture due to an injury.

He seemed to have injured his hand while fielding in Mumbai's Buchi Babu Cricket Tournament 2024 match against Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) XI in Coimbatore. He didn't come out to bat in the fourth innings of the encounter.

Suryakumar also didn't take part in the second round of the Duleep Trophy 2024. It remains to be seen if he is able to recover ahead of India's upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, beginning October 6.
