Rohit Sharma and his men ply their trade at T20 World Cup 2024
Rohit Sharma-led Team India are currently in the West Indies, set to kick off their Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Afghanistan. India topped their group in the previous stage of the tournament, remaining unbeaten, and made their way to the next level.
After the game against Afghanistan on Thursday, June 20, India will face neighbors Bangladesh on Saturday, June 22. The Men in Blue will play their last match of the Super 8 stage on Monday, June 24, against Australia.
Having missed a spot in the final in the tournament’s previous edition, Team India would be hopeful of crossing the semi-final stage this time and breaking their 11-year-long ICC trophy drought. Notably, India haven’t lifted an ICC title since the 2013 Champions Trophy.
