The Hundred Men’s 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Birmingham Phoenix vs Trent Rockets (Updated) ft. Ben Duckett & Tim Southee

On Monday, August 12, Birmingham Phoenix faced Trent Rockets at Edgbaston, Birmingham, in the 28th match of The Hundred Men's 2024.

Birmingham Phoenix won the toss and opted to bowl first. With a remarkable five-for from Tim Southee backed by two wickets from Chris Wood and one from Adam Milne, they bundled the Rockets out for 118 runs. Tom Alsop was the highest-scorer with 51 runs and Pakistani all-rounder Imad Wasim added 29 runs while the rest were dismissed in single digits.

In reply, Ben Duckett set the tone for Phoenix with a 16-ball 30-run knock. Liam Livingstone remained unbeaten on 30, and Jacob Bethell scored 38* off 29 deliveries, leading the team to the target in 93 balls. John Turner and Luke Wood claimed two wickets each for the Rockets.

Trent Rockets are now knocked out from the playoffs race while Phoenix aim to finish in the top two.

James Vince is still leading the most runs leaderboard, having smashed 338 runs, including four fifties, in seven games at an impressive average of 67.60.

Ben Duckett scored 30 runs in the last game and jumped from fourth to second position with 234 runs to his name. Meanwhile, Nicholas Pooran (227) and Phil Salt (216) dropped to third and fourth spots, respectively. Tom Banton is fifth in the list with 205 runs.

Sam Curran (176), Alex Hales (169), Harry Brook (163), Kieron Pollard (155), and Jordan Cox (150) occupy the next five spots.
