Oval Invincibles beat London Spirit by 30 runs in the first match on Sunday at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Sam Curran was the Player of the Match as he delivered both with the bat and the ball. He scored 51 runs off 22 balls, including six sixes, and folloed it up by a five-wicket haul, including a hat-trick.
In the other match, Northern Superchargers defeated Manchester Originals by 14 runs at Headingley in Leeds. Harry Brook won the award for the Player of the Match for scoring a quickfire 58 off 33 balls, laced with nine fours.

James Vince is currently the leading run-scorer of the tournament. The Southern Brave batter has racked up 185 runs from four matches at an average of 61.66 and a strike-rate of 158.11 with a top score of 90*, to show for his efforts. Nicholas Pooran is second in the list with 146 runs at an average of 48.66 and a strike-rate of 143.13.
Tom Banton, Ben Duckett and Jacob Bethell have racked up over 100 runs in the competition. Harry Brook, Sam Hain, Dan Lawrence, and Jonny Bairstow have also been among the runs.

Adam Zampa reclaimed his top spot in the list of top wicket-takers in the tournament. In four games, the leg-spinner has taken 10 wickets at an economy of 6.22 with a three-wicket haul to his name. Sam Curran jumped to the second spot after his stupendous performance against the Invincibles.
Chris Jordan is placed at third with eight wickets from four matches at an economy of 8.22 and a strike-rate of 8.75. Liam Dawson is fourth in the list, having taken six wickets from four games. Imad Wasim, Tymal Mills, Haris Rauf, Craig Overton, David Willey and David Payne are also among the leading wicket-takers.
