X/Twitter was flooded with reactions as Australia batter Travis Head smashed yet another Test century against India in the ongoing third Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test match at the Gabba in Brisbane on Sunday, December 15. It was the southpaw's ninth century overall in Tests, his third against India, and second in Brisbane.

Head who scored 163 runs in the victorious World Test Championship (WTC) final against Rohit Sharma's men in June 2023 at the Oval in London, scored his second Test hundred against India in the second game of the five-match series at his home ground - the Adelaide Oval - last week.

During that innings, he went on to break his own record for the fastest hundred in a day-night Test, getting to the three-figure mark off just 111 deliveries.

Here's a look at some noteworthy reactions on X following Travis Head's century at the Gabba against India:

"Travis Head-ache at it again," a fan wrote.
"Travis Head owns us. Nothing more to say," another fan wrote.
"This is humiliation !!! Travis head who had 0 runs in the last 3 innings at Gabba is now walking for the tea break with 115 runs with run a ball," a fan vented out.
"My worst nightmare involves Travis Head," another fan expressed.
"Team India has managed to get Travis into their #Head," a fan tweeted.
"Another day...Another Travis head ton against india. Hook it in my veins!!!!!!" a fan mentioned.

Travis Head's century provides Australia the upper hand in the rain-affected Brisbane Test

After losing the series opener in Perth by a massive margin of 295 runs, the hosts produced a sensational comeback by winning the pink-ball fixture in Adelaide by 10 wickets. With the series leveled at 1-1, the third game kicked off in Brisbane on Saturday, December 14. India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl. Due to incessant rain, only 13.2 overs were bowled by India on Day 1 before the play was called off.

Despite restricting Australia to 75-3, India failed to capitalize on the early advantage. Powered by Head's century and Steven Smith's half-century, the Pat Cummins-led side is set for a big first-innings total and currently hold the upper hand in this rain-curtailed Test match. The remaining two clashes will be played in Melbourne (Boxing Day Test) and Sydney (New Year's Test).
