Following the completion of this round, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Vidarbha, and Bengal lead the standings. With the competition heating up, the race for playoff spots is becoming increasingly intense.

Gujarat ascended to the top of the Vijay Hazare Trophy points table following their dominant performance against Goa. Gujarat now leads with 24 points from six matches, boasting an impressive net run rate (NRR) of +3.222. Goa was dismissed for a modest 117 runs, with Axar Patel delivering a sensational spell of 3/14, supported by Ravi Bishnoi’s economical 2/8. Urvil Patel once again showcased his consistency and value to the team, scoring a brisk 61 off 34 deliveries, guiding Gujarat to victory in just 16.4 overs.

Haryana secured second place with 20 points and an NRR of 0.51 after a hard-fought four-wicket win over Odisha. Odisha began their innings strongly, with Rajesh Dhuper and Sandeep Pattnaik contributing 69 runs each, setting a competitive target of 268/5. However, Haryana’s top-order resilience, highlighted by a 96-run partnership, ensured they chased down the target in 47 overs. Yuvraj Yogender Singh (67 off 78) and Ankit Kumar (62 off 67) were instrumental in steering their side to victory.

Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, and Goa currently sit level on 12 points, with net run rates (NRR) of +1.005, +0.902, and -0.955, respectively. Uttarakhand secured a four-wicket victory over Jharkhand in a 249-run chase. Anukul Roy led Jharkhand’s scoring with 52 off 71 balls, while Aditya Sethi delivered a pivotal performance, claiming four crucial wickets. In response, Ravikumar Samarth’s outstanding 104 off 107 balls, supported by Avneesh Sudha’s 75 off 86, ensured Uttarakhand’s successful chase.

Odisha and Assam occupy the seventh and eighth positions with eight points each from six matches. Assam registered their second win by defeating Manipur, who remain winless and have been disqualified from this season’s Vijay Hazare Trophy. Assam comfortably chased down the 162-run target to secure the victory.

Maharashtra continues to dominate at the top of the table, remaining unbeaten after six matches with a net run rate (NRR) of +2.216. Batting first, Andhra posted a total of 270/7, driven by a late flourish from KV Sasikanth (52 off 25) and a steady innings from Ashwin Hebbar (49 off 85). In reply, Maharashtra’s Siddhesh Veer anchored the chase with a stellar unbeaten 115 off 124 balls, guiding his team to victory in 47.3 overs.

Rajasthan edged past Railways in a thrilling last-over contest. Railways set an imposing target of 345/9, courtesy of Suraj Ahuja’s century (115 off 116) and Sahab Yuvraj’s valuable 81 off 91 deliveries. Rajasthan responded emphatically with two centurions – Kartik Sharma (100 off 69) and Samarpit Joshi (116 off 114) – steering them to a memorable win. Rajasthan now holds 20 points with an NRR of +0.432. Andhra and Railways follow closely with 16 points each and NRRs of +1.573 and +0.897, respectively.

Himachal Pradesh secured fifth place by defeating Services by 32 runs, boosting their NRR to +0.523. Meanwhile, Services and Sikkim remain at four points, with NRRs of -1.213 and -1.648, respectively. Meghalaya sits at the bottom of the table, yet to secure a victory, with an NRR of -2.275.

Punjab secured a commanding 80-run victory over Hyderabad, posting a formidable total of 426. Prabhsimran Singh led the charge with a brilliant 137 off 105 deliveries, while Abhishek Sharma narrowly missed out on a century, scoring 93 off 72 balls. Ramandeep Singh added valuable late runs with a quickfire 90 off 53 deliveries. In response, Hyderabad was bowled out for 346, with Arshdeep Singh claiming four wickets and Raghu Sharma providing support with three.

Karnataka bounced back strongly, defeating Saurashtra by 60 runs, bringing their tally level with Punjab at 20 points, though with a slightly lower net run rate (NRR) of +1.383. Aneesh KV (93 off 83) and Mayank Agarwal (69 off 65) powered Karnataka to a total of 349/7. Despite a century from Harvik Desai, Saurashtra was dismissed for 289. Mumbai secured a decisive victory over Puducherry, driven by Shreyas Iyer’s outstanding 137 off 133 balls, propelling them to a total of 290/9. Puducherry’s response faltered, with wickets tumbling at regular intervals, ultimately restricting them to 127. Akash Kargave offered the only resistance, scoring 54 off 54 deliveries. With this win, Mumbai now sits at 16 points. Following their respective defeats, Saurashtra, Hyderabad, and Puducherry remain at 12 points, with net run rates (NRR) of +0.763, -0.187, and -0.427, respectively.

Nagaland celebrated their first win of the tournament, defeating Arunachal Pradesh by a comprehensive margin of 229 runs. Nagaland posted 358, while Arunachal Pradesh was bowled out for 129 in pursuit. This victory improves Nagaland’s NRR to -0.577, while Arunachal Pradesh faces a significant deficit with an NRR of -6.169.

Vidarbha continues to lead the table with 20 points from five matches, maintaining a strong net run rate (NRR) of +1.433. They secured a thrilling victory over Uttar Pradesh, successfully chasing down a target of 307 with 16 balls to spare. Sameer Rizvi impressed for Uttar Pradesh with a brilliant 105 off 82 balls, but Vidarbha’s outstanding batting display, led by Yash Rathod (138 off 140) and Karun Nair (112 off 101), ensured the win.

Tamil Nadu sits second with 14 points and an impressive NRR of +2.758 after a dominant 10-wicket win over Mizoram. Varun Chakravarthy delivered a mesmerizing spell of 5/9, restricting Mizoram to just 71. Tamil Nadu comfortably chased the target in 10 overs, with N Jagadeesan contributing 46 off 28 balls. Uttar Pradesh, also with 14 points, holds third place with an NRR of +0.262.

Chhattisgarh occupies the fourth spot with 10 points, following their seven-wicket victory over Jammu and Kashmir. Chhattisgarh successfully chased 337 with nine balls remaining, thanks to outstanding centuries from Ashutosh Singh (127 off 104) and Sanjeet Desai (128 off 139). Despite Shubham Khajuria’s remarkable 156 off 115 balls, his effort went in vain. Chandigarh and Jammu and Kashmir each have six points, with NRRs of +0.253 and -0.580, respectively. Mizoram remains at the bottom of the table with two points and an NRR of -3.926.

Bengal solidified their position at the top of the table with a six-wicket victory over Bihar, bringing their tally to 18 points and an NRR of +0.771. Baroda follows closely in second place with 16 points and an NRR of +0.949 after an 84-run win against Madhya Pradesh. Delhi holds third place with 12 points and an NRR of +0.505. Kerala and Tripura are level with six points each but have negative NRRs of -0.310 and -1.894, respectively. Bihar sits at the bottom of the table with four points from five matches and an NRR of -0.948.
