Day 2 of the prestigious Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2023 has finished on a high note. A total of 18 matches took place on Day 2 of the tournament where most of the games were high-scoring. Teams such as Bengal, Baroda, Kerala, etc. scored nearly 300 runs in their allotted overs.

The second day of the tournament was indeed an amazing one where a few have smashed centuries. Vaibhav Suryavanshi tops the chart with a whopping 225 runs in two matches he has played so far.

The Bihar batsman opened the innings alongside Yash Pratap, smashing 139 off 137 with 14 fours and 6 sixes against Haryana. But he couldn’t guide his side to a win. He has so far hit 29 fours and 7 sixes and played at 105.63 SR after having faced 213 balls.

Meanwhile, Poorvansh Dhruv is in the second position with 192 runs. The swashbuckling Uttarakhand batter has scored 174 runs from 105 balls with 18 fours and 8 sixes against Meghalaya. He has so far smashed 19 fours and 8 sixes and scored at a strike-rate of 154.83.

The third place has been taken by Aarav Mahajan Patel who has 171 runs so far to his name which came at 129.54 SR with 20 fours and 5 sixes from two games. He smashed 140 of these runs against Meghalaya.

Meanwhile, Nitya J Pandya and Saurabh Deswal are placed at fourth and fifth in the leading run-scorers list with 160 and 155 runs from two games, respectively.

Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2023: Most Wickets List

DVS Sriram tops the wicket-takers list with 10 wickets from two games so far. Andhra’s star bowler registered a stunning spell of 6 for 33 against J&K and helped his side win as well.

He has so far bowled 16.3 overs, conceding only 62 runs at an economy rate of 3.75 as well. Mohit Thakur, on the other hand, is placed second with eight wickets to his name, having a stunning spell of 5/13 as well. He bowled at an economy rate of 2.31 so far.

Third and fourth place in the list has been taken by Sanyog Shyam Bhagat and Arkajit Roy, who have taken 8 and 6 wickets in 2 matches, respectively.

Narayana Kartikey is placed fifth in the wicket takers’ list after having picked up six wickets at an economy of 3.90, giving away 52 runs in two matches he has played so far.
