In a viral video, Australian skipper Pat Cummins' son Albie Boston Cummins is seen interrupting the player's press conference after the skipper's team won the fifth and final Test match of the 2024-25 Border Gavaskar Trophy series against India in Sydney on Sunday, January 5. The adorable moment is now winning the hearts of the netizens.

Cummins was responding to a question about debutant Beau Webster at the press conference when Albie called his 'Dada' who replied 'I'm here' with a big smile on his face.

Pat Cummins got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Becky Boston in February 2020. They welcomed their first child, baby boy Albie Boston Cummins, on October 8, 2021. Later, the couple got married on August 1, 2022.

They are set to become parents for the second time as Becky took to her social media handle Instagram to share the happy news in August last year via a beautiful post. She captioned:

"Incredibly happy to finally share our news! We are so excited to meet you baby, and to add a little more craziness to our lives."

Meanwhile, the Pat Cummins-led side won the New Year's Test match, defeating India by six wickets at the Sydney Cricket Ground. With this victory, they clinched the 2024-25 Border Gavaskar Trophy series by a 3-1 margin apart from ensuring their 2025 World Test Championship final spot. Thereby, the defending World Test champions will be battling it out against South Africa for their successive crown in the summit clash which will be played at Lord's in London from June 11-15, 2025.

Captain Cummins had a fantastic series personally, finishing as the second-highest wicket-taker with 25 scalps to his name apart from scoring 159 runs across eight innings. Pacer Scott Boland, who picked up 10 wickets in Sydney, was adjudged Player of the Match for his exploits with the Cherry while Jasprit Bumrah was named Player of the Series for being exceptional throughout the series, having claimed 32 wickets.
